Dog Disaster: Dillon the Dog’s Really Bad Day

Dog Disaster: Dillon the Dog’s Really Bad Day

Dillon the dog is a good boy. He’s also a very smart boy who knows when something is wrong.

Here’s the story of how Dillon came to our house, and how we realized he was a lot smarter than we thought.

Dillon’s Story

Dillon is an Australian Shepherd mix. We found him at the local shelter about six months ago. He had been picked up as an owner surrender because his family was moving and didn’t have time to bring him along. They said he was five years old, but since he had no ID we couldn’t verify that information. We knew nothing about him except that he was sweet and friendly and seemed to have some training.

We brought him home and introduced him to our other dog, Bear (an equally sweet and friendly Border Collie mix). They got along great! Bear loved having a friend, even if it meant sharing me, which didn’t bother either of them at all.

The first thing we noticed about Dillon was that he had some serious separation anxiety issues. When I left the house for work in the morning he would whine and cry until I came back home at night (or until Bear came out of her crate). He also wouldn’t eat or drink while we were gone.

The second thing we noticed about Dillon was that he was an escape artist. He figured out how to open our front door and get into the garage when we weren’t looking, so we had to start locking him in his crate whenever we left the house.

The third thing we noticed about Dillon was that he hated being alone in his crate, which is where all dogs should be when their owners aren’t home, but not every dog likes being confined for long periods of time. Dillon whined and cried whenever he was locked in his crate, which meant that I couldn’t leave him unsupervised for more than a few minutes at a time without risking waking up to find him missing from his kennel (which happened more than once).

Trying to Get Dillon Some Help

Trying to get Dillon the dog some help was difficult. We took him to the vet and they said there were no signs of illness or injury that would explain his behavior. He was still friendly with us, but he was aggressive towards other dogs. We had already decided that we would have to find him a new home if nothing could be done to help him.

Dillon was a rescue dog who had been abused by his previous owners. He was a sweet boy who just didn’t know how to behave around other dogs. We knew that he would make someone else a wonderful pet, so we wanted to make sure we found him a good home where he wouldn’t be in danger of being abused again.

We put up flyers around town with pictures of Dillon and his story on them, but nobody replied with interest for adopting him until one day when I received an email from someone in Maryland who said she wanted to adopt him!

We took Dillon to the vet and they said he was in pain and needed surgery. The surgery would cost $2,000 dollars. The doctor said that if we waited any longer, Dillon might not make it.

I had no idea how I was going to pay for this surgery. I didn’t have enough money in my bank account or in my checking account to pay for it. I had been saving up for a trip with my husband but that wasn’t happening now because of Dillon’s health issues.

Dillon and CBD

Dillon the Dog’s story is one of hope and healing.

Dillon was a rescue dog who came to us with many health issues, but his biggest problem was the terrible pain he suffered from all over his body. He was diagnosed with chronic hip dysplasia, which causes pain and inflammation in the joints. He also had degenerative disc disease and arthritis in his spine, which caused him constant discomfort.

We began giving Dillon CBD oil to help him manage his pain.

In just two weeks of using CBD oil, we noticed a huge difference in Dillon’s mobility and demeanor. He was no longer limping around with a hunched back or dragging his paws on the ground when he walked! The only thing that changed was adding CBD oil to his diet!

Dillon started jumping up on furniture again (something he hadn’t done in years) and even started playing with toys again! The most amazing change we saw was an increase in his energy level—he went from being a lazy boy to running around like crazy again! We are so thankful for this natural remedy that has helped our sweet boy so much!

Yay for Dillons recovery

Dillon the Dog is a happy boy. He recovered with natural products like CBD.

I am a dog mom and I had to share this story with you all. My husband, son and I adopted Dillon from the shelter when he was 6 months old. He was so sickly when we got him; he had mange, worms and ear infections. We took him to the vet who prescribed antibiotics and an anti-fungal for his ears.

He continued to get worse, so we took him back to the vet who prescribed more antibiotics and steroids for his ears. The steroids made him sicker than ever! He was lethargic, not eating or drinking and would just sit in his bed staring into space for hours on end. The steroids were making him crazy! We stopped them immediately but it took several days for him to return to his normal self again.

Then we started researching holistic remedies that might help Dillon feel better without taking any more drugs or steroids. We heard about CBD oil (cannabidiol) as an alternative treatment for dogs with chronic pain issues like arthritis and joint problems. We bought some CBD for dogs (we chose Cibdol brand because it’s organic) and began giving it to Dillon once a day mixed in with his meals.
